About The Groomers
"I am a professional pet groomer with 15 years of experience grooming all breeds. My love for dogs and the artistry found in grooming inspired me to start my pet grooming apprenticeship in 2005. Since then, I have continued my motivation to provide the best services I can for pet owners and their pets. I am currently a member of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers (N.A.P.C.G.), as a way to showcase my dedication to my profession, and to continue my knowledge and further my education as a Professional Pet Groomer.
As a pet grooming business owner, it is important to me to provide my clients with a convenient and friendly atmosphere where pets and their owners can experience a stress free grooming experience. Working as a veterinarian assistant has also given me the confidence and ability to give your pet best care possible, keeping an eye out for any health concern issues during their visit. I am educated in helpful holistic solutions to keep pets healthy and looking their best. I use only all natural pet grooming products and shampoos and use only what’s best for your pet according to their needs.
My passion for animals has also lead me to volunteer my time as a state licensed wildlife rehabilitator, caring for injured and orphaned wild animals.
I strive to give your dog the best furstyle with gentle hands in a clean and quiet atmosphere”
"As an avid animal lover, grooming has gone from a dream job to my beloved career. Because of my love for animals, I strive to treat each and every pet that comes to me with the care and compassion that I treat my own pets with at home. In my 3 years of grooming experience so far, I have worked hard to learn as much about the trade as I possibly can, always pushing myself to be the best that I could be. I also served on a safety council in my last grooming position, putting in the extra work to keep myself and my fellow groomers up to date on the latest best practices in the trade, ensuring pet safety and customer satisfaction.
Coming to Pawfections is a dream come true for myself and my career as a groomer. I am excited to continue growing and learning every day, and equally excited to get to know all of the fantastic pets and pet-parents in our new home."
Certified Master Groomer, IODGA
"My passion for animals began at a young age when I was first introduced to Quarter Horses. This led me to the show ring, where I learned to groom and actively compete in horse shows. This passion continued for my love and affection for dogs and this ultimately grew into an intense love for Golden Retrievers. As a breeder, groomer, and handler, to date I have finished 14 AKC Champions and 5 Canadian Champions. My greatest achievement in the ring was winning an AKC- Best in Show with my 1st Champion, “Cedar” and winning an Award of Merit at the 1997 Westminster Dog Show. Currently, I am still actively grooming Golden Retriever Show Dogs and I assist in their show careers.
Initially graduating from The Pennsylvania School of Dog Grooming in 1987, with over 32 years of grooming experience, I still approach each day with a passion for my work. I am so happy to be a part of the talented team here at Pawfections Pet Salon and I look forward to meeting you and making your pup its very best."
After much time searching for my dream job, I decided to combine my love of all things furry with a knack for working with my hands. My name is Hannah. I'm a certified dog groomer from Happy paws unleashed, a professional grooming school. Raised in Maine, I have strong family ties. I enjoy riding horses, hiking, and warm sunny days at the beach. My occupations vary from working as a stern man on my grandfather's lobster boat to forging silver as a metal Smith. My best friend is a golden retriever named Disco. She is the light of my life ... and well groomed if I don't say so myself! It is my goal to make your dog happy and comfortable during the grooming process. I have a quiet, gentle but firm touch and feel it is important to establish a good relationship between myself and the dogs that I groom. A well-groomed dog is a happy dog. I look forward to meeting with you and getting to know your furry friend.
