Alaina LeBlanc
Owner/Pet Stylist

I am a professional pet groomer with over 20 years of experience grooming all breeds. My love for dogs and the artistry of grooming inspired me to begin my pet grooming apprenticeship in 2005. In 2011, I opened Pawfections Pet Salon, fulfilling my dream of providing high-quality grooming services in a welcoming and stress-free environment.

I am an active member of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers (N.A.P.C.G.), demonstrating my commitment to education, innovation, and excellence in the grooming industry. My passion for the craft extends beyond the salon—I actively compete in professional grooming competitions, continually refining my techniques and staying at the forefront of industry trends. Through competing, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from top stylists, challenge my skills, and bring fresh, creative inspiration back to my salon.

In addition to competing, I've also participated in AKC dog shows, where I have gained extensive experience in breed-specific grooming and presentation. My background as a veterinary assistant has equipped me with the knowledge to recognize potential health concerns during grooming sessions, ensuring that every pet receives not only a stylish trim but also compassionate care. I am also well-versed in holistic pet care, offering natural solutions to support pet health and well-being.

Beyond grooming, my love for animals extended to wildlife rehabilitation. As a state-licensed wildlife rehabilitator, I have further deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care.

Whether in the grooming salon, in the competition ring, or at a dog show, my goal is always the same—to bring out the best in every dog I work with.

Rachel Braley
Pet Stylist

I’m an experienced pet groomer with nearly 13 years of hands-on expertise in grooming both dogs and cats. Originally from the Portland area, I spent the early years of my career in the greater Washington D.C. area and on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Working in diverse salons across the country has allowed me to learn from many talented groomers and develop a strong understanding of breed-specific grooming needs and techniques.

My journey into grooming began with Jasmine, my beloved Shih Tzu. The love and joy she brought into my life inspired me to pursue a career caring for pets. As she’s grown older, our time together has shifted from outdoor adventures to quiet, cozy moments filled with cuddles. That deep bond has shaped the way I approach every pet I groom—with compassion, patience, and gentle care.

I’m passionate about creating a positive, low-stress grooming experience for each dog in my care. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and behavior, always striving to meet the expectations of their owners while making sure their pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

I’ve recently returned to my home state of Maine, and I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and helping your pets look and feel their very best!

Bethanie Currier
Pet Stylist

Hi, I’m Bethanie! I’ve been a dog groomer for about six years, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’m originally from Florida but moved to Maine when I was 18, and I’ve been working with dogs ever since — in vet offices, doggie daycares, and shelters. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I do my best to make every pup feel safe, happy, and cared for while they’re with me.

When I’m not grooming, I love getting creative with painting, arts and crafts, and playing fun, cozy games like Animal Crossing. And of course, I spend plenty of time with my own Pomeranian, who keeps me smiling and reminds me every day why I love what I do!
